I was surprised to hear George Ackles name mentioned. He was the unsung beast on those old UNLV teams. NBA body, First Round Pick, but nothing to show for it in the NBA. I don’t even remember who he played for. Sad. Keep up the great work!

Being a little older (not sharper), I had a couple other athletes on the “what they could have been list”. Hank Gathers from Loyola Marymount (in L.A.) and Len Bias from Maryland, but those would have been pretty grim for your show. For me, the big one would have been an injury free…Bo Jackson.

“Lawn Darts”. Great episode, Bien. I was laughing when Murdock mentioned “I tasted armadillo”. Great segment on the dangerous toys from our youth. You two go pretty deep on basketball, too. You were both spot on with Jason (Jay) Williams from Duke. He was on a great trajectory until the injury AND he generally voices the worst takes on the ESPN morning shows - Lol
